On October 31, the teams of Indian Railways Delhi and Indian Navy Mumbai will face each other in the first semi-final. While Bharat Petroleum Mumbai will face Indian Oil Mumbai in the second semi-final. The first quarter-final was played between Bharat Petroleum Mumbai and Army XI Delhi. Both the teams were level at half time. After half time, in the 48th minute of the fourth quarter, Army's Atish Dodri converted a penalty stroke into a goal to make the score 1-0. In the 50th minute, Bharat Petroleum's Shahrukh Ali scored a field goal to make the score 1-1. Both the teams remained level at 1-1 till the end of the stipulated time. Bharat Petroleum Mumbai won the penalty shootout 3-0 and entered the semi-finals. The second quarter-final match was played between Punjab Police Jalandhar and last year's winner Indian Oil Mumbai. In the second minute and in the seventh minute of the game, Indian hockey team captain Olympian Harmanpreet Singh converted both the penalty corners into goals to make Punjab Police 2-0 ahead. Punjab Police was leading 2-0 at half time. In the 31st minute of the game, Indian Oil's Sunil Yadav converted a penalty stroke into a goal to make the score 1-2. In the 35th minute of the game, Gurjinder Singh of Indian Oil converted a penalty corner into a goal to make the score 2-2. In the 50th minute of the game, Talwinder Singh of Indian Oil scored a field goal to make the score 3-2. In the 52nd minute, Harmanpreet Singh scored a goal to make the score 3-3.
