• 42nd Indian Oil Servo Surjit Hockey Tournament Indian Navy Mumbai and Indian Railway Delhi teams in semi-finals Jalandhar, October 29 () Indian Navy Mumbai defeated Indian Air Force 4-2 in a penalty shootout and Indian Railway Delhi defeated BSF Jalandhar 5-0 to enter the semi-finals of the 42nd Indian Oil Servo Surjit Hockey Tournament. The first two quarter-final matches were played on the seventh day of the tournament at the Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium, Jalandhar. In the first quarter-final, the Indian Navy Mumbai and Indian Air Force teams put up a great show. Kriappa Mandapanda scored a goal for Indian Air Force to make the score 1-0.
